This is a 3D-printed Clay Pot project, using robotic arms and python script. Throughout the process, it became clear to us that, while the production of the objects and iterations that came forth were driven by a set of mechanical parameters and rulesets with a set definition, the variety in which these operations could produce was unlimited in scope. Much like any sort of design, whether digital or analog, a discerning eye of the designer is essential in refining and creating an aesthetically pleasing and appropriate work. In that sense, the tools and operations we engaged in were not limitations, but mediums for further expression.
